From Your Friends at H & J Tire

When you own or run a business many people tell you to keep it separate from your personal life. Here at H & J Tire, we think of our customers as friends and we think that makes all the difference. 

I was recently talking to another business owner in our auto repair industry and came to the realization that what makes us stand out at H & J Tire is we view our customers as friends and treat them as we would treat those closest to us whether they have been with us for years or just walked in the door that day. The other business owner asked me, "How can you live and work in the same town as your business?". The more I thought about this, the more it became clear that we wouldn't be who we are if we didn't live and work in the same community. 

Everywhere I go, Rotary Club activities, the golf course, school functions, the hardware store, or dinners out, I see my customers and friends. I enjoy the interaction and feeling of community and I wouldn't want it any other way. We live here, we work here, we shop here, we raise our kids here, and most of our employees are from here. It also ensures that we have a high standard for our work and we put honesty and safety above anything else. 

Every day when all of us come to work, we get to see and talk to our friends, and we know if they're in our shop it may be a stressful situation for them. We do our best to help every customer through the difficult decisions they need to make. We want to ensure that they are safe, but also that they understand what we are doing and why. We approach this process the way we would want someone to treat us or our loved ones in the same situation. We think about what will provide the best value, help their car perform as they need it to, maintain the safety and utility of the vehicle for as long as possible, and all for a reasonable price!

At H & J Tire we spend much of our time searching for the best value in the products we offer. We will try to match your budget with the choices that will best meet your needs and desires, and in exchange, we will ask a fair price that allows us to continue to be in business with quality employees and equipment. 

Marin and Novato is our home. We are your friends, neighbors, and fellow customers. We are part of your community, your school, and your civic support. Our kids are friends with your kids, and all of us here at H & J Tire are here for you!
